Dooly’s ferme ses portes sur la rue Main et déménage ses quartiers généraux sur la Promenade Elmwood. “L’édifice a été vendu. C’est une décision d’affaires, dit Pierre Larivière, Vice-président chez Dooly’s. Selon M. Larivière, lorsque le projet du Centre des congrès sera en place, l’entreprise songera à l’ouverture d’un nouveau Dooly’s au centre-ville. Nous vous tiendrons au courant!

Bogart’s ouvert pour le lunch la fin de semaine à partir du 9 juin

Bogart’s Bar & Grill sera ouvert pour le lunch les samedis et dimanches à partir du 9 juin. “Nous ouvrons présentement nos portes à 17h, mais plusieurs clients nous demande d’ouvrir plus tôt, alors nous allons donner aux clients ce qu’ils veulent. Notre heure d’ouverture sera reculée à 11h30, 7 jours par semaines. Nous avons aussi un "Spécial Bar & Patio" entre 15 h et 20 h pour l’été”, affirme la Sous-chef, Jennifer Williston. Bogart’s est situé au 589, rue Main.

Razor Edge Hair & Spa organise un Coupe-O-Thon à l’extérieur pour combattre la pauvreté infantile

Razor’s Edge et Headway Salons organise un Coupe-O-Thon au coin des rues Highfield et Main le dimanche, 3 juin de midi à 16 h. Le prix des coupes varie de 5 $ à 15 $ et tous les fonds amassés iront à One X One pour aider à combattre la pauvreté infantile. Un spectacle haut en couleur pour célébrer le 10e anniversaire de l’ACADÉMIE DE BALLET CLASSIQUE

Émotion, charme et énergie explosive sont au coeur du spectacle de danse Célébration que présente l’Académie de Ballet Classique le dimanche 3 juin à 19 heures au Théâtre Capitol. L’Académie de Ballet Classique célèbre son 10e anniversaire en grand en produisant un spectacle exceptionnel qui mettra en scène une trentaine de jeunes danseuses de 9 à 17 ans, membres du Théâtre jeunesse de l’Académie.

Le spectacle sera suivi d’une réception dans le rez-de-chaussée du Capitol. Tous sont invités. « Pour nos dix ans, nous avons décidé de monter un spectacle mémorable qui viendra toucher les cordes sensibles des spectateurs. Le spectacle permettra d’apprécier le grand talent et le travail soutenu des membres du Théâtre jeunesse », affirme la directrice, Suzanne Bourque.

Creek Seafood & Steak offrira de la musique en direct « live » à compter de ce vendredi soir entre 16h et 20 h sur la terrasse. “Nous voulons fournir une atmosphère plaisante pour nos clients après leur semaine de travail, alors nous essayerons d’avoir de la musique les vendredis soirs”, explique le propriétaire, Gilles Maltais. Good times are over as Dooly’s closes on Main Street and moves headquarters to Elmwood Drive

Dooly’s has closed its Main Street location and has also moved its headquarters to Elmwood Drive. “The building has been sold. It’s a business decision”, explains Pierre Larivière, Vice President of Dooly’s. According to Mr. Larivière, once the Convention Center Project is in place, Dooly’s will look at opening a new location in the Downtown Moncton. We’ll keep you posted!

Bogart’s to open for lunch on weekends as of June 9th

Bogart’s Bar & Grill will now be opening for lunch on Saturdays & Sundays as of June 9th. “We currently open at 5pm, but we've had many people asking us to be open for lunch, so we are going to give the customers what they want. We will open at 11:30 a.m., 7 days a week. We also have a "Bar & Patio Special" for the summer every day between 3pm and 8pm”, explains Souschef Jennifer Williston. Razor’s Edge Hair & Spa to hold outdoor Cut-A-Thon to help fight child poverty

The Razor’s Edge and Headway Salons will be holding a Cut-A-Thon at the corner of Highfield and Main on Sunday, June 3rd from 12 to 4 p.m. Prices range from $5 to $15 and all proceeds go to One X One to help fight child poverty. In the event of rain, the Cut-A-Thon will be held inside by the Razor’s Edge in Highfield Square. For more info, dial 388-5395.

The ACADEMY OF CLASSICAL BALLET celebrates its tenth anniversary with a bang!

Emotion, charm and explosive energy are at the heart of the dance show Celebration which will be presented by the Academy of Classical Ballet on Sunday June 3rd at 7PM at the Capitol Theatre. The Academy decided to celebrate its 10th anniversary by producing an exceptional show which will feature 30 young dancers, ages 9-19, members of the ABC Youth Theatre.

The evening will be followed by a reception in the lobby of the Capitol, to which all are invited. "It’s an opportunity for us to show to the public what we’ve been up to, what we’ve been building towards for the past ten years ", declares Suzanne Bourque, Director of the Academy. Tickets for the show are available through the Greater Moncton Ticket Network.
