Frye and I Homme de théâtre et artiste polyvalent, Philip André Collette animera une conférence Pop et Frye au sujet de Northrop Frye et de ses oeuvres, en particulier le livre Pouvoirs de l’imagination qui est un de ses écrits les plus Pop-ulaires. Philip André discutera
ensuite de l’impact de Frye sur sa propre pratique artistique.

Frye Festival pre-festival event!

Pop et Frye lecture series
This week : Frye and I Thespian and multidisciplinary artist, Philip André Collette delivers a Pop et Frye talk in tribute to Northrop Frye. In particular, he will focus on The Educated Imagination, one of Frye’s most Pop-ular books. In the second part of his talk, Philip André will discuss the impact that Frye’s teachings have had on his own artistic practices.

This free lecture will take place on Tuesday February 19th at 7pm at Timothy’s, 735 Main Street. The Frye Festival will take place from April 23rd to 27th. www.frye.ca
